Welcome to Ameenah. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ameenah mobile application and related services (“Ameenah” or the “Service”). By creating an account or using Ameenah, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About Ameenah

Ameenah is a platform designed to help Muslim travelers connect with local Muslims, exchange travel advice and recommendations, communicate with one another, and arrange meetings or other travel-related interactions.

Ameenah provides a platform for users to connect. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Ameenah is not a travel agency, tour operator, accommodation provider, transportation provider, professional guide service, or party to arrangements made directly between users.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must meet the minimum age required by applicable law and by the app store through which you access Ameenah. You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your login credentials secure.

You may not impersonate another person, create an account using misleading information, or use another person's account without permission.

3. User Profiles and Information

Users may provide profile information including their name, city and country, languages, interests, travel experience, hosting preferences, profile description, and other information supported by the Service.

You are responsible for the information you provide and should not publish sensitive information unnecessary for using Ameenah, such as passwords, financial credentials, identification documents, or exact private addresses.

4. Connections, Advice and Meetings

Ameenah may allow users to request or offer meetings, local advice, recommendations, itineraries, or other travel-related assistance.

Users are responsible for deciding whether to communicate with, rely on information from, or meet another user. Ameenah does not guarantee the identity, conduct, reliability, availability, intentions, qualifications, or suitability of any user.

Users should exercise reasonable judgment when arranging in-person meetings, including choosing appropriate public locations where suitable, informing someone they trust of their plans, and avoiding unnecessary disclosure of sensitive personal information.

5. Travel Information and Recommendations

Recommendations, itineraries, reviews, local tips, and other travel information available through Ameenah may be created by users and may change over time. Ameenah does not guarantee that user-provided information is complete, current, accurate, safe, lawful, halal, suitable, or available.

You remain responsible for checking important travel information independently, including entry requirements, visas, transportation, opening hours, prices, safety information, accessibility, and other matters relevant to your trip.

6. Messages and User-Generated Content

Ameenah may allow users to send messages and submit profile descriptions, reviews, recommendations, travel tips, reflections, and other content (“User Content”).

You retain responsibility for your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Ameenah a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, maintain, and improve the Service.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, invasive of another person's privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, or otherwise harmful to users or the Service.

7. Respectful and Safe Use

Ameenah is intended to facilitate respectful connections within the Muslim travel community. Users must treat others respectfully and may not use Ameenah to harass, threaten, deceive, exploit, discriminate against, stalk, spam, or endanger another person.

You may not use Ameenah for unlawful activity, fraud, unauthorized commercial solicitation, or attempts to compromise the security or operation of the Service.

8. Reviews

Reviews should reflect genuine experiences and should not intentionally contain false, misleading, defamatory, or abusive information. Ameenah may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to Ameenah where reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service, investigate suspected misuse, enforce these Terms, or comply with legal obligations.

You may delete your account using the account deletion functionality provided in the application. Information relating to account deletion and data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Privacy

Your use of Ameenah is also subject to our Privacy Policy, available at https://privacy.ameenahapp.com.

11. Third-Party Services

Ameenah may rely on or link to third-party services, including mapping, location search, email, notification, translation, travel, or other services. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Ameenah is not responsible for third-party services it does not control.

12. No Guarantee of Availability

We aim to keep Ameenah available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued as the Service develops.

13. Disclaimer and Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ameenah is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Ameenah facilitates connections and information exchange but does not control users' actions or independently verify every recommendation, interaction, or arrangement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including applicable consumer protection law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Ameenah develops or as legal or operational requirements change. The updated Terms will be published with a revised “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of Slovenia and applicable European Union law, without limiting any mandatory rights you may have under laws that apply to you as a consumer.
